Adam Kreek Made Loving Video Diary to Son Before Sea Nightmare

In the winter of 2013, four young men from the U.S. and Canada set out to become the first adventurers to ever row across the Atlantic from Africa to North America. What began as an exciting adventure soon turned into an unpredictable nightmare — a rogue wave capsized their 29-foot boat after 73 days at sea.

Miraculously, the footage these men taped of their journey was recovered, including these touching video diaries Canadian Olympic gold medalist Adam Kreek made to his young son Jefferson while aboard the James Robert Hanssen rowboat.
