Hello,
I apologize for the misunderstanding. The free transfer service for our VPS customers does not cover the VPS's that are not setup with cPanel/WHM. We provide the VPS systems without any control panels for those who wish to configure their system themselves and is an ideal hosting package for Linux Administrator clients who are familiar with command line interface. Unfortunately, VPSs without cPanel would need to have all of the services installed manually (this includes Bind, Apache, MySQL, PHP, etc.). This is a very time consuming process which we are unable to offer administrative or migration services for. If you would like to have cPanel/WHM installed on this server, you will need to upgrade to a Snappy 1000 VPS account at the least and cPanel is an additional $10 per month for the hosting. After cPanel is installed we would be able to proceed with the transfer for free for you.
If you would like for us to provide you with a quote for transferring your data to your new VPS server, please provide the hosting details for your new server after you have enabled services for your account and provide us with the details of where you wish to have your content restored to. Once you have the resources configured and available on the new server, you should be able to provide us with the details of the new hosting platform so we can restore the content for your website to the domains root hosting location (such as /home/$user/public_html/ for cPanel or /var/www/vhosts/$domain/httpdocs/ for Plesk as some examples). After you have your server configured for hosting and provide us the new location for your root hosting directory, we'll be happy to investigate further and provide a total cost for the transfer of your website to your new custom configured hosting server.
